You may want to read this meditation into a recorder so you can follow along with it easily.
Find a comfortable place where you won’t be distracted. Sitting with spine straight and feet on the floor. Get yourself into your meditative
state. Then say an invocation or prayer,
e.g., ”I call forth the
Universal Energies to flow through me and fill me with the Divine
Consciousness. I call forth my Higher Self and ask to reveal to me
what I most need to learn at this time”.
Start by visualizing a ball of the White Light above your head.
You will be bringing in the Light energy into each of your chakras
(energy centers) filling each center with the Divine Consciousness.
Now as you breath in, allow the Divine White Light to enter through the
Crown chakra (top of the head), filling this area, then on the next
inhalation bring this Light into the Third-eye chakra (between the
brows), filling this area, continue to breathe and bring the Light into
the Throat chakra (throat) filling this area, then bring the Light into
the Heart chakra (chest area), filling this area, than bring the Light
into the Solar Plexus chakra (six inches above the navel), filling that
area, than bring the Light into Sacral chakra (six inches below the
navel) filling that area, then bring the Light into the Root chakra
(base of the spine) filling that area.
As you bring the Light into each area feel yourself becoming more and
more relaxed. Feel the Loving energies filling every area of your
being. Now look inside for any area that is not relaxed and once again
breathe the Light into that area. Now feel your senses expending and heightened. Relax into the energies.
Now ask your Higher Self for guidance on a particular area of your
life, or whatever you need guidance on. After a few moments you may
feel a lightness or floating sensation. Don’t be afraid, its normal.
Stay focused and listen for your answer or insights (its not your
imagination, don’t worry). Sometimes the answer don't come immediately, sometimes you may be directed to a book, see a sign or from another person. But what I have learned is the guidance always answers, even if it is not the one we want.
Stay in that state as long as you want. Than begin to breathe deeply and bring
your awareness back into the room. You should feel relaxed, uplifted
with clarity of mind. At this time you may want to write down your
experience in a journal to track your progress. As you continue to meditate, you will begin to sense the presence of a loving guide who is
here to help you. The more you meditate the more profound your
experiences.
